The way to get diamonds to spawn is to hunt the males of each animal. I would highly recommend you buy the Treestand & Tripod DLC, the tripod is extremely useful for keeping hunting pressure low as well as having a height advantage. Use the dots as a rough guide to where you will find need zones for certain animals. Note: The score for the Blackbuck is incorrect, a diamond rating is 28.3 The numbers shown are the minimum score required for diamond. This will help you determine if the animal is a potential diamond. If you unlock the 2nd level of Spotting Knowledge you can see the potential rating for the animal. Score is the rating required for diamond. The levels shown are the maximum level possible for the animal. The level of the animal can be checked when spotting.
A max level wont always mean it’s diamond rated. When hunting you are looking out for the maximum level of each animal. Ĝlass 5+ (Puma, Mule deer, Red deer & Water Buffalo) – 7mm Regent with polymer-tip bullets. 243 with polymer-tip bullets (Beginning Rifle) Ĝlass 3 (Axis deer & Blackbuck) – Ranger. Ĝlass 1 (Cinnamon Teal) – Shotgun with birdshot. This can be checked by looking at the ammo for your weapon in the inventory screen. To get a diamond you need to make sure that you are within the class range.
